Please introduce yourself and tell us what you’re up to at the moment?
Hi, I’m Catherine, I’m a consultant and a membership host for creative product businesses and I work with them to grow their sales and their profits.
Please tell us why you love shopping with independent businesses
I think, for me, independent businesses are incredibly creative and inspiring and I love that there’s something for everybody, so when I buy from a creative independent business, I know I am getting something special and unique. I also think they have the best customer service and work the hardest to make their customers happy.
Have you got favourite indie makers and brands you’d like to share with us?
Of course, all of my clients, I love everything they do, and club members too, so it’s really hard for me to pick favourites. However, I am a big fan of earrings and and I always receive comments on my Dakota Rae Dust. I probably have about 7 pairs from her and always get really great comments when I wear them.
Do you visit markets regularly? If so, please let us know which ones and why you love them?
I love shopping at markets. I don’t get to go to as many as I’d like, however, I do enjoy Spitalfields in London, which runs regularly. It’s a great place to go and shop, as well as having lots of tasty places to eat too.
